Last Summer was a blast with Physique & NORY!  We swam, played soccer, built cities, made robots, took field trips.
We are thrilled to announce the same awesome camp in Midtown East at International Preschool, 330 East 45th St.

Here are some quick things for you to know about our camp: 

– Morning drop off is at 9am at The International Preschools in Midtown. 
– Campers swim daily with 1hr of instructional time at 333 East 66th St.
– The pool at 333 East 66th st is excellent pool for beginner with steps that swimmers can easily enter and exit.  It  3 feet shallow in the shallow end and 6 feet deep in the deep end,
– Campers return to IPS for lunch at 11:00am, Lunch is included in the tuition and is provided by Little Green Gourmets.
– After lunch it’s NORY time! Robot Building, Motion & Matter Physics, Blast Chemistry, Builder’s Engineer and sports in the afternoon.
– Campers are dismissed at 4pm.  We offer extended pick up time until 6pm, $100/week.  

Campers are welcome to choose from one of the following registration options: 
Option 1: Physique Swimming and NORY STEM Full Day Camp for ages 4 – 10
Option 2: Half Day Morning Camp Swim with Physique Swim instruction only (lunch included).  

We are excited for our campers to become safe, water confident, develop strokes, learn water polo and indulge in daily aquatic fun!
NORY STEM brings out the inventor and problem solver in in our campers, develop new skills to program a robot and build circuits and structures.  We could not ask for better camp!

Grouping

Being in the right counseling group is very important to campers, and to us! If our camper is not happy then we are not happy.
We will go to make sure all campers are grouped appropriately and according your request. We divide campers into two groups: Minnows 7 years old & under and Sharks 8 years & up:

A camp application must be filled out for each camper. Please Email or call for additional information.

A deposit of $300 per camper must be made at time of registration and balance must be paid by May 31, 2018. Any registration after May 1, must contain a full amount.
For all credit card payments the balance will be assessed to the same credit card by June 1, 2018.
Refund minus $60 – will be issued for any pre-camp cancellations.
Please note we have a no refunds policy after June 1. 

Extended Day Option

EXTENDED DAY OPTION: For an additional $100.00 per week our camp team will supervise your child from 7:45 – 8:00am in the morning and from 4:00-6pm after camp.

The safety and concern of children and staff in our care is the most important.All campers and staff must complete health history forms that are to be signed by a parent or guardian or physician. All of our instructors and counselors are currently Red Cross certified in Life Guarding, CPR, and First Aid. We also maintain a fully stocked Health Center for your child’s comfort and safety in the event he/she requires medical attention. Additionally, if your child has an allergy (requiring ah Epipen, or other emergency treatment), or any prescribed medication, please tell us in order to make the proper arrangements.

Swim

Physique Swimming
Campers dive into Physique’s daily instructional swim program (morning), as they learn comprehensive swim techniques and safety skills under the supervision and guidance of our Red Cross certified instructors and lifeguards.

All campers swim at 333 East 66th St, New York, NY 10065.  Pool is warm at 85 degrees. 

Our camper’s instructor ratio is:

  • Beginner 1: 1 -> 4
  • Beginner 2: 1 -> 4
  • Advanced 1: 1 -> 5
  • Advanced 2: 1 -> 5
  • Swim Team Prep: 1 -> 6

We ask parents to look at the Level Description to determine an appropriate swimming level for their child. Swim level will be adjusted as instructors see fit and as the camper progresses. As campers progress and complete each level, they will receive achievement awards weekly.

Sports

Athletics and games of all kinds are always age appropriate:

  • Fundamentals of soccer
  • Track and Field
  • Capture the Flag
  • Dodge Ball
  • Challenge and Obstacle courses

The aim of our sports programs to increase campers’ athleticism and sportsmanship.
