Physique Swimming is constantly looking to recruit new and skilled swim instructors and lifeguards. Being an instructor with Physique is a wonderful opportunity to work in aquatics and grow professionally.
We offer competitive salaries and understand our employees school and family obligations.
All instructors must work well with children and adults as well as possess strong communication skills. To become an instructor you must be certified in WSI (Water Safety Instructor), CPR, First Aid and Lifeguarding.
You are also required to maintain current certifications at all times. We constantly train our instructors to promote high quality lessons by giving them advance knowledge and prominent lesson skills.

Swim Instructor Requirement:

  • Previous aquatic teaching and lifeguarding experience
  • Competitive swimming or aquatics background preferred
  • Experience working with children of all ages
  • Current certifications in WSI, CPR and LG.

Swim Instructor Responsibilities:

  • Provide instruction for a variety of ages (4 months-16 years) in small group and private classes.
  • Enforce all aquatic facility policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Attend monthly meetings and training seminars.
  • Instructors are required to have a consistent schedule.
