Physique Summer Camp at RNH Information:

Dates: June 26 – August 18, 2023 (8 Weeks of Summer Fun!)
Ages: PreK – 6th Grade
Three Amazing Groups for different ages & abilities:
Guppies: Pre-K – First Grade
Minnows: Second – Fourth Grade
Sharks: Fifth – Sixth Grade
RNH Summer Camp Program:
Full Day 9:00am – 3:00pm | Lunch and snack included
Half day 9:00am – 1:00pm | Lunch and snack included
Ages 3.5 – 11

Physique Summer Camp Sample Schedule:
8:00am Early Drop off Available

9:30-12pm Camp groups rotate between instructional swim, chess & STEM
Noon Lunch (included)
12:30pm Nap Time for Guppies (afternoon snack)
1:00pm Half Day Campers Dismiss
1-3pm Campers rotate between Sports, Arts, Sprinklers and playground
3:00pm Dismissal – Full Day Campers
5:00pm Dismissal – Extended Day Campers
Grouping
Campers are divided into three groups:
Guppies: 3-5 years old
Minnows: 5-7 years old
Sharks: 8-11 years ol9

It is important to us that all campers are comfortable in their grouping, if our camper is not happy then we are not happy! We will go the extra mile to make sure all campers are grouped appropriately and according to request.
Weekly Themes & Field Day:
Summer Camp Weekly Themes Unique weekly themes such as Superheros, 4th of July, and Going Green will be announced before the start of each week.
Fridays – Fridays are for Fun Field Day! Campers will be broken into teams to immerse in fun games and team sports. Pool time will be dedicated to relay races, engaging swim games, and a little free swim time to unwind!

F.A.Q; Here are some quick things for you to know about our camp:

- Morning drop off is at 9am at the Riverdale Neighborhood House, 5521 Mosholu Ave, The Bronx, NY 10471. Early drop off is available at 8am for an extra cost.
- After morning check in and announcements campers participate in group warm up exercises & ice breakers before beginning the daily camp program.
- The facilities at RNH include a full size Olympic outdoor pool that is 25 yards, six lanes, three feet shallow in the shallow end and 10 fee deep in the deep end. The water temperature is kept during the summer time is comfortable for learning at 83 degrees.
- All sports take place in the indoor gym and outside basketball court.
- Daily curriculum includes a 45 minute instructional swimming lesson and allotted time for organized fun free swim.
- Lunch is included in the tuition and is provided by our wonderful partners at Familly Meal Time. Weekly menu options will be included in your weekly welcome email.
- Campers are dismissed at 3:00pm. Extended care is available from 3pm – 5pm

The safety and concern of children and staff in our care is the most important.All campers and staff must complete health history forms that are to be signed by a parent or guardian or physician. All of our instructors and counselors are currently Red Cross certified in Life Guarding, CPR, and First Aid. We also maintain a fully stocked Health Center for your child’s comfort and safety in the event he/she requires medical attention. Additionally, if your child has an allergy (requiring ah Epipen, or other emergency treatment), or any prescribed medication, please tell us in order to make the proper arrangements.
We love it HERE and want you to feel the same. Let the summer magic of making friends, learning how to swim, play sports, do arts and science happen here . We can not wait to welcome every camper with open arms and big smiles. We nurture our staff, just like we nurture our campers.

Class Schedule
Swimming
Campers dive into Physique’s daily instructional swim program as they learn comprehensive swim techniques and safety skills under the supervision and guidance of our Red Cross certified instructors and lifeguards. Our comprehensive swim instruction is ideal for beginner, intermediate and club swimmers. Swim groups are broken up by age and skill level to accommodate each swimmers’ level.
Instructional swimming takes place at the on site RNH Swimming Pool

We ask parents to look at the Level Description to determine an appropriate swimming level for their child. Swim level will be adjusted as instructors see fit and as the camper progresses.
Sports
The aim of our sports programs to increase campers athleticism and sportsmanship. Campers will engage in daily movement, athletics, team sports & games under the supervision of our camp team.
All sports & games are friendly and age-appropriate.
