Age Groups
Our camp is open to children entering Pre-K to 5th grade (ages 4-11). Campers are divided into 3 groups based on the grade they will be entering after camp. Each group is subdivided based on age and number of campers.
Groups:
- Guppies: Pre K – 1st grade
- Minnows: 2nd – 3rd grade
- Sharks: 4th – 5th grade

Swim instructions will be provided daily.
Swim Levels: All beginner swimmers are welcome along with swimmers are who are advanced and will be working on improving their strokes.

How do I enroll?
The best way to register for camp is through our Sawyer customer portal. You can easily register for your preferred weeks, submit required documents, and set up payment plans here.

Per New York City DOH requirements, all campers must have a physical health examination and immunizations dated within one year of the camper’s last day of camp. Please submit the required health form prior to your first day of camp.
When do I pay?
You have the option to pay in full at the time of registration or set up a payment plan through our customer portal. All payment plans must be paid in full by June 1st to secure your space. A non-refundable deposit equal to 1 week of tuition is due at the time of registration.
How many campers are in each group?
Our camper-to-counselor ratio and swimming class sizes are:
- Guppies (Pre K – 1st grade) – 4:1
- Minnows (2nd – 3rd grade) – 6:1
- Sharks (4th – 5th grade) – 7:1
Can my child be grouped with a friend?
Yes! As long as your campers fall within the same division (Guppies, Minnows, Sharks) we are happy to place friends or siblings together and will do our best to accommodate all requests. If you would like to have your child grouped with a friend or sibling, please indicate that at the time of registration, along with the names of both campers.
Is lunch included?
Lunch is not included in camp tuition, parents have the option to purchase lunch for $40 per week (per camper) or pack a daily lunch for their camper. All packed lunches and snacks must be nut-free.
What should my child bring to camp?
